Hoping

Walking through shadows and memories,
All my love drifing to the fairies,
You seem to be here...
But the shadows have blinded me with fear.

I am hoping,
But I seem to be falling,
Everything is a blur,
You were the captor,
Of all my dreams.

Now I fall with no hope,
Falling down an endless slope.
Tears can fall freely as I fall,
Because you cannot hear me call.

You will return to me,
Empty and lonely,
Searching for the blue,
The sky seems out of my grasp,
But as look for you,
I just want to collapse,
I can see your face...
But you seem to be able to ignore me but I am still filled with God's grace,
I can see your whole body,
But it's not clear as it was before.

Walking with all these shadows.
Here I stand.
Hoping,
Praying,
Crying.
Yet I still am invisble to you.

What does my smile mean to you now....?
Or can you not see it anymore...
I don't know why I hope you will turn around and see me,
Because I stand here hoping,
But you seem to just walk away.
I thought you had loved me,
But suddenly I know that I can never be made visible.
Yet, I stand here hoping you will return to me.
Hoping then,
Hoping now,
Hoping always.

Hoping you will return is all I can do for you.
