How...
by Regina S.

"Are there rainbows after every rain? Or is there a rain before every rainbow?"

How does guilt replace anger
when you find out that you're wrong?
Do you ask for forgiveness,
or does your pride remain strong?

How do lies turn to truth
when you let yourself see
that life truly goes on
but does death set you free?

How do stars lose their sparkle
when dust fills the night sky?
And when the're no stars to wish on,
do you ask yourself why?

How do families fracture
and then fall apart?
When there's no love to bind them
and no will in their heart?

How do these things happen?
There's always a way.
But did you ever wonder
how the night turns to day?

Reggie,
Looking through your work amazes me more and more every day. I love reading it. When I saw this one on the main page, I had to read it again. It's so sad, but so touching, with questions many of us ask over and over again.

Many answers are only found when our last night turns to day, and we come face to face with death to ask him if he really does set us free.

Great job Reggie.

Forever,
Debra
