Good Night Kisses, part 1 (Michael)
by Mary -BrytEyz- Ball (Age: 38)
copyright 08-19-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

He couldn't stop thinking about her. As Michael walked, visions of the night kept dancing thru his head like some kind of butterfly waltz. Each vision of her beauty, her smile, and the way she'd gently rest her hand on his when she spoke to him seemed to jump start his heart over and over again.

His steps started to slow down a bit after reaching a distance of all of three and a half blocks from her house. Was she thinking of him as he was her? He paused a moment and looked back at the direction he'd come, back toward her house. He had just dropped her off after spending with her what he believed to be the most wonderful evening of his life. Michael wasn't sure why, but his feet found themselves heading back to her, like a magnet drawing a compass needle from where it should be.

As his feet picked up their pace, his mind played the evening's events for him in an array of flashing images. Each one was so real, he could swear she was right there with him. The smell of Jadore perfume lingered in his nostrils, the warmth of her breath from when they talked and danced still tickled his ears, and even the velvety feel of her skin remained on his fingertips. He got tingles remembering how they brushed at first her back, then closed in to hold her tight. He hadn't meant for his hand to slip under her shirt when he dipped her, but when it did - he wasn't sorry. He did blush, however, and watched her face closely as he brought her up from the dip for any sign of disapproval.

Her gentle smile either meant that she mind, or that she didn't notice. Michael was about to move his hand back to the outside of her shirt when she sighed softly and placed her head on his shoulder. How could such a simple thing take his breath away, make him feel dizzy, and create a near amnesia condition as he seemed to forget where he was.

Where was he? Oh, yes. A smile crept across his face as he turned the corner and could see her house. Panting and feeling drops of moisture roll from his forehead, only now did he realize he'd been running the whole way back to her house. As he approached the house, he was elated to see a light on. Yes! She was still awake then.

He stopped facing the porch, the same porch she kissed him good night on. He closed his eyes remembering the sweet taste she left him with. What a way to end the evening. When he opened his eyes, he searched for her bedroom window. He saw movement behind the curtain. At first he couldn't make it out. As she got closer to the glass, with the light on behind her, it all became painfully clear. Michael rubbed his eyes, not wanting to believe what he was seeing...

What was it he was seeing? Was it Sarah? What will he do? What would you do? Do you think you know what's going to happen? If so, or if you'd like to take a guess... go ahead. Stay tuned for part two coming soon.

I bet Sarah is a cross dresser, with the wrong junk in the trunk! You write well, but I still like your poems better. This does run a close second though! Good job, Anthony

Oh my, I can't guess what might be happening, mainly cause i don't like guessing wrong. I will await the next chapter.

Mary, tightly written and interesting to read. The very last stanza though felt as if the story had turned into a soap opera. **g** Would have been really tight if the last paragraph gave a glimpse of what was happening which startled Michael so much. Looking forward to the next.

I agree with Robert... lol... but I want to add... very nice job with the senses, there. :)
