Looking at you with tears in my eyes,
Feeling us be torn away as our friendship dies.
You stand there looking at me about to be gone forever.
Here I stand staring and waiting like a soldier.
Here I stand.
Waiting for you to turn around and stay.
But my thoughts are not visible.
Why do you leave me here standing teary?
There you go with and absent minded smile.
I walk away trying not to cry anymore.
When will you turn around?
When will come racing back so we can laugh?
Here I stand.
I turn around seeing you fly off with your new dreams.
Hoping you will not forget about me.
I see you looking out the window smiling at me.
We part here.
You flying away.
Me running with tears in my eyes.
Remembering.... and hoping.
There we had stood as best friends.
Never knowing that this would happen.
Without that part of me that left with you,
I'm incomplete.
Here I stand now.
I turn around and try to wave goodbye.
But as I turn around I realize,
There's no one there.
Turning around again.
Round and round my thoughts circle.
There we had stood.
Laughing so hard we couldn't breathe.
Now here I stand.
All alone.
With tears flooding my vision.
I remember your absent minded smile.
We had been good friends.
But even friendship dies.
There are no more tears,
Not even in death.
I can see you now standing with lots of people,
They accept you as a friend.
Here I stand.
Tears in my eyes.
Never will I be normal.
As my tears are all dried up.
I stand looking for a rainbow.
But cannot find it.
Monkeys.
Rainbows.
Our Game.
And Me.
All gone they seem already,
I will try my hardest to reclaim them.
Even if they seem to be out of reach,
I will remember your absent minded smile.
