The Undines

Elemental beings...
Deep feminine souls,
of all watery places,
like a drop of rain falling
from a cloud,
fast-flowing river,
splashing
over waterfalls to
shape your rushing course,
unashamed, unabated;
Throwing up a rainbow -
suddenly embracing you -
an undine, empathetic,
Sink into this velvet darkness
to outrun the sun
in the primordial wisdom
of the deep...
there, buoyed with awareness,
separate from air,
the water is its womb!
