I am setting up a new panel at pnp which consists of all Jr. Fms and Fms at Prose-n- Poetry.
This is a help panel that requires that poets help other poets improve their writing skills. The purpose of this panel is to help each poet improve their work and get their work out of workshop and on front page.
Every Full- member and every Jr. Full member will receive the name of a poet from me at the beginning of every month. Your job is to help your assigned poet, or writer by making suggestions on how they may improve their work. Work with the poet until they are able to get their poems out of workshop and receive at least a rating of a nine on front page. This applies to all their work, not just their poetry. You will review their work and they will review yours in return, each helping the other to improve. You will have one month to help this person and for them to help you. I understand some are busy, just help as much as your time allows. You will correspond through e-mails and the workshop.
Please avoid making corrections on front page because visitors see those and it could be embarrassing for the authors. Every month each of you will receive a new name.{ Do not discriminate against anyone you are asked to help, be honest, open and critique their work fairly in order to help them improve and they will be required to return the same favor to you}. You may also use the meeting room for helping one another, provided there is a room monitor present and you e-mail Candy and she approves the time you have set up. Please understand, Candy Clontz is very busy with her children and other matters on the site, so please do not be upset if she cannot open the room for you at the time you have requested.
Please feel free to comment and e-mail me any further questions you may have. When I send you the poet's name, you will also receive further instructions. This is simply a panel to help every writer at pnp improve their writing skills and ensure PNP remains the best writers site on the net. I also think this will help improve membership and pnp needs members to survive. Please members, everyone do your best to help ensure the future of Prose-N-Poetry. Every member at Pnp is expected to participate. You will sleep well at night knowing you guided another person one step closer to accomplishing their dream, and if that is not enough payment for your time, your price is set way to high!
Help Us Stop Plagiarism -
Nearly all works at PnP are original. However a few people choose to plagiarize.
To check, choose a phrase from the work, then either drag and drop to the search box or copy and paste.
click on search and works at Google will be shown which match. Just to be sure, please do this before
you recommend or rate the work highly...
I am going to begin as soon as I can e-mail all of you a name, but I am not getting any e-mails through and I am not sure if it is a problem with pnp or what.
Good idea, Janet, and I would be more than happy to participate. I do wonder, however, how many of our casual writers are really committed to taking the time and making the effort to improve. Would they really be open to suggestions to the point where they would revise their work. I also feel that your goal of reaching a "9" may be a little high (perhaps 8.5?).
*Giggles* Hopefully it will ease my consciounce about all the mean things I do to people every day. ^_^... <.< >.> Hehe...shhh...I'm a bad person. LOL! Sorry, odd mood. Just got out of philosophy. Had to sit there for near two hours and review for the exam (which I desperately needed review for but fell asleep >.
