Outside my Window...
by Anne W. (Age: 16)
copyright 10-06-2003

Age Rating: 4 to 127

Outside my window
Across the lawn
Sits a sycamore tree,
Awakened by dawn.

Finger-like branches
Reach for the sky
Hoping to catch
A wandering bird's eye.

Children run
And play all day
Jumping on branches
Making them sway

And when the tree blossoms
With signs of spring
It brings joy to each person,
To each living thing.

Lovely picture, Anne!
For me, the best piece is:
"Finger-like branches
Reach for the sky
Hoping to catch
A wandering bird's eye."
Keep your writing!
Irina.
