I can't write, fight, or cook!
by Mary -BrytEyz- Ball (Age: 38)

Here we go another bout
Don't you know or shall I shout
The words you type mean more to me
Than purely hype or flattery

You say that you can't write
Well, then I'm fat and we will fight
Because you see I disagree
With what I see in your poetry

Now cooking poses problems
Double looking doesn't solve 'em
Really tho 'tis not your job
Don't you know or shall I sob

'Tho cooking books list many treats
Only fire cooks food you eat
But if they don't turn out just right
And some they won't, then do not cry

Please save that for when we fight
Don your hat and say it right
We save our lives by writing things
These, our knives, that fighting brings

We don't need to raise our fist
Just plant a seed and make a list
For tongues are sharp, they're just like swords
Fighting fungus foes and even more

E-ther, Knee-ther, Knigh-ther, Nor
For I-ther more is less, or less is more
Don't make me hurt you, darling Bruce
Just take me further along with you

Here we go another bout
Don't you know or shall I shout
The words you type mean more to me
Than purely hype or flattery

Mary, I really enjoyed the secod to last verse of this poem, and the rhyme scheme is awesome--only thrown off a bit in the verse:

'Tho cooking books list many treats
Only fire cooks food you eat
But if they don't turn out just right
And some they won't, then do not cry

otherwise, its absolutely wonderful.
