It Seems So Real
by Mary -BrytEyz- Ball (Age: 38)
copyright 08-19-2001

Age Rating: 16 to 127

Making love involves so much more than sex
It's a concept of touch that's so complex
For we can connect without the help of skin
And bare without embarassment or chagrin

How do words make love as if you were here
And let me feel passion's breath upon my ear
How can merely mentioning it make me shiver
And begin to flow that sweet milky river

How can something so far from reality
Make it feel as if you're really here with me
How can what you've thought and told me this day
Engulf me so strongly and this far away

You say you're the storm that's engulfing me
And you've that loving force eternally
You are the heat and passion in my fire
And you're all that I need and so desire

I know you're right. You always are, you know
I feel the hugs, and all the kisses you blow
You are the force of all that brews in me
And the surge that blows the fuse in me

I just wanted you to know my faithful knight
That you shine so sweet, you shine so bright
You've set the mood for heated rhyming
So I thought I'd write in poetic timing

You're the storm, brewing within my thighs
You're the breathless murmur inside my sighs
And when it seems I can't say another word
We know the messages, we've already heard

For I needn't say or even try to verbalize
The unspoken passion welling in my eyes
My shortness of breath gives it all away
You smile at the signs you see in me today

Words touch deeper than your fingers could
Actions speak louder than promises would
We'll be together someday; you'll see
And then our dreams will be reality

Making love involves so much more than sex
It's a concept of touch that's so complex
For we can connect without the help of skin
And bare without embarassment or chagrin

Sex is becoming commercialized. People try to have sex to find love and it doesn't work like that. They are the same(sex and Love),but they don't have anything to do with one another! There is sex without love and love without sex! As some of my friends will say," It's all good!" Unless it's forced on you, all sex is good, but if you "really"(not just a crush) love the person that you have sex with it can be phenomenal. Very nice poem, again i am impressed! Anthony

I like the opening/closing stanzas the best...feel it really wraps it all up well.
