Everyone Knows Me
by Caitlin M. (Age: 16)
copyright 12-14-2003

Age Rating: 10 to 127

  Everyone Knows Me

Walking to my next class
Some guy says hi
Some girl says hi
My enemy says hi
My buds say hi

Wait up Caitlin!
Is what people from behind are saying
Here's my number!
From girls that I don't even know
Call me!
From the guys in my homeroom
Caitlin pay attention!
From the science teacher
We had homework?
From me

I am just myself
If everyone does their thing
It's cool with me
I hate wannabes
But, how does everyone know me?
When, I am not a snobby, rich kid?
Cause those are the only popular people
So, how does everyone know me?
I have no idea.

Maybe they don't know you, but they want to. Faith and hope walk on inside and often shine bright enough for others to see. Great poem.

Maybe They know you 'cause you dont TRY so hard to be someone else, you let people see YOU. Good poem.

I really like this Caitlin. Maybe they all know and like you because you leave yourself open to them and make them feel comfortable?
