Ghostly Lullaby
by Christopher Doss (Age: 21)

Age Rating: 1 to 127

A song gently plays
Its tune captured in my heart
The lingering love
of a mother far away
Death could not steal you from me

Chris,
I can't believe I missed this one! You say so much in so few words. This is really amazing! It kinda reminds me of when my grandma died when I was in 2nd grade. We went to California for her funeral and my mom made me sleep in my granddma's old room that night because there was nowhere else to put me. I saw her that night, standing over my bed, humming something she used to sing to me before she passed. Thanks for recreating that moment for me. Wonderful write.

I love this poem. I think that you could have heard your mother. I know that a lot of times I will dream of my grandmother and it is so real like I could fell her hand on my shoulder but when I wake up no is there but, its really hard to explain I just knew she was there. And (this was be fore my grand mother died) one time my mother and me were at KFC and I started to sing a song I had never heard before in my life. And it was in another language. I think that there is a lot of things out there that cannot be explained and that scars a lot of people. Well got to go.
See ya
Sarah

Images fill the mind the music of another time.
The past is the door to the future. Love old creates the new, comfort comes in many forms. This is a very good poem.
