This is one of the most beautiful haiku poems I have ever read...If you remove the 's' from the end of "falls" (verb and subject agreement), it would be perfect....You have an amazing gift for the ethereal and poignant...Truly....

i love how you made the leaf a teardrop-- it made me think of the falling of the leaves as saying goodbye to the sun for a while.

Very good. I like it alot even though it is short. But you put forth alot of emotion and made me feel like I was part of the story.

This made a lot of emotions and thoughts go through me in a short time. My first thought is that it is sad, the trees crying for the lost summer...but then I thought--tears are not only for sorrow. Sometimes we shed tears because we are happy or have a strong feeling of hope. Hard times happen often (Autumn by Autumn) but with hope and tears of faith, what happens in between is really pretty nice.
Sorry this is so long, it's just what I felt when I read it. Awesome Haiku
