my heart shatters
by Andrea Jeanette DiGiantomasso (Age: 22)
copyright 11-04-2003

Age Rating: 16 to 127

my heart shatters
my spirit clatters upon
the concrete where i once stood
and upon the altar where i prayed
i turn to gaze at the beaches singing behind me
i sigh as i see the mountains weeping before me
among the shadows i feel the light burn my face
the salt air stabbing my heart with nostalgia
it is this pain that makes me pine for the world i know
where i cry out to the heavens

let me go Home

Very nice. It is sad, but full of emotion at the same time. I hope that this feeling goes away for you my friend. Keep up the good work.

It sounds like you like to talk about how you feel. Having something to go off of is a good start for the greats
