I stay awake late at night because I can not get you out of my head
Your words to me nothing more than a mere whisper now
I can't seem to focus on what it seems you are saying
I try to pay attention but all I can hear is nothing
I swear I can see you. But your face is unclear to me in the dim light of the moon
Clutching the sheets out of fristration
I can't stand another moment
I get up and walk to you.
Only to have you fade away from me again
Tears of anger
Tears of frustration
Tears of pain
Tears of saddness
They all fall from my eyes
Just as free as the waterfall does
Feeling better about what has happened
I crawl back into bed
Falling back asleep under heavy eyes
I sleep in heavy slumber
The dream coming back to me now
Clearer this time
This time I can hear the promises
I can hear the lies
I hear the love inside your heart
But you also try to hide it so
I do not know why I fell in love with you in the first place.
But I know I am done
I am done with your insults
I am done with the lies
I am done with the tears
I am done with the anger
I am done with the pain all together
This is where I say Good-bye to a silly dream that will never come and haunt me again

Good poem. You express emotions well and the piece flows well and is easy to read. I like the fact that the poem is easy to understand, no hidden meanings, no 'reading between the lines'. Well done
