Sun-Downer’s Lake is wild and primal, bathed in grotesque shadows
Ghostly fog figures hovering on the quiet surface
Contorted, unnatural, unrecognizable shapes and swirls
eerily twisting in the rising mist
along the rocky shoreline edge
Last rite perceptions denote a tear stained kind of morning;
opal white, wickam grey, heavyset with overcast
My precise portion of solemn solitude
befits my blueming mood
Frazzled thought patterns form a major hindrance
to rules and regulations writ in stone
A clinging vine persona intertwined with other haunted souls
I exhaust all means to slice my blunted point across
A microburst explodes into slickly bitter blood
Red liquid spreading sparkplug splatters
Gooey globs coagulating into sticky-sweet spastic splotches
Detached and isolated, I'm the disenchanted dreamer
My emotional spirit freed from Armageddon's happiness
