Thief
Just a few pills, just this one time.
If you are stealing from family it's not even a crime.

Son
When sister was sick with only Mom and Dad there,
I gave up a dream to show them I care.

Liar
The bills have been paid, I say with a sigh,
and when bill collectors call I never know why.

Husband
I'll take you forever, in sickness and in health,
but how can I love you, when I can't love myself?

Sinner
Believe in what God? My faith is not blind.
You can't save a soul you can't even find.

Believer
When I finally was dying from this invisible disease,
tears welled in my eyes, I fell to my knees.

Criminal
Did I become a felon to fulfill my evil need?
Look at my record, that's what you will read.

Addict
They promised me a life, not power or wealth,
they did something for me I could not do myself.

Man
I wake each morning and try to live for today,
God has given me a map, now I must find the way.
