1 96 oz.) pkg. Long-grain and wild rice
1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing mix
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sage to taste
1 can water chestnuts
1 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. butter toasted pecans
Turkey or chicken stock
Cook rice in stock. Saute the celery and onions in melted butter. Add the
water chestnuts, pecans, dressing mix and the cooked rice. Stir in salt,
pepper and sage. May also add tarragon and chicken seasoning, if desired.
Make into balls and freeze. To serve, heat and serve with turkey or chicken
and gravy.
