Listening to the running water
Hearing the singing birds
Telling their stories ancestrial to time
Wolves chasing the deer through the words I say
Dinner time is near
Each passing moment dark clouds blanket the sky
As time roles by our bodies die
But no matter we live our happy lies
Red leaves falling from old trees crying
Falling to the ground and lay dying
Birds over pass flying
Walking through this world of blasphemeres
The sky is in tears
Prone to all childhood fears
What to think I'm no longer sure
All I know is no one is ever pure
Finally ending the conflict in my mind
Leaving the dark woods behind
Entering back to the world, where everyone is blind

Wonderful poem, Jessalyn. And I dont think I could say anything that I really want to without having to copy Christopher's comment word for word. ^.~ Great job.
