This is a great poem Chris. It highlights how we grow up way to fast but yet there is a kid in all of us locked away. So true for us all.

If it were only easily done, but alas it's not to be. I'm far from being a child, but not so far from feeling like one. And the memories? They plague me every day. Just when I think I've let go, like discarded gum on my shoe... remnants remain. Kudos on a work well done. I sure wish I would have found you sooner. So much time wasted! I'll make up for it though. Write on and I will read!

Awesome write!! um, if you want, go to Carmen C.'s page, and click on the poem "Hoping" she attached a midi with it, (which, by the way i am still dying to find out the name of) it fits soo perfectly with your poem, especially with your title (or at least I think). ^-^

Letting go.....alright!!! Obviously you can never forget things but you can move on from them and when the come to the front of your mind they won't affect you the same way. Really awsome poem I loved it. I wish you the best!!!

Touching....But Walt is right. No door is ever closed too tightly. It is always open at least a crak. It is just a matter of finding your way in the dark.
