PnP Reference Guide
Main Page, Workshops
by Robert Betts (Age: 62)
copyright 12-04-2003

Age Rating: 4 to 127

The main pages and workshops appear to be very similar. They are but there are a few subtleties.

The order displayed in the workshops is in order of the last update. If it is new to the workshop, it will appear on top. Each time a work is edited, again, it moves to the top. This is to encourage authors to correct mistakes. Each correction will move the work back to the top where it is more likely to be read and receive recommends.

The order on the main page is in copyright date. Whenever a work first appears on these pages, it will be on top. If it comes from the shop, the copyright date is updated to when the author moves it out of shop to the main page.

Gold Member's works initially go to the main page while works by Silver Members go to the shops. Gold Members can and often do move a work into shop for help.

To get a work out of shop to the main pages requires 15 praise points from your peers. It also costs 15 points. Books are individually moved by bob on completion of the book if it is a reasonably good work. If not good, it may be simply deleted by bob

Authors at this time cannot delete books. If that is needed, please email bob.

Anyone may become a Gold Member after they have earned a total of 100 praise points. Dues are higher for Gold Members and they are expected to subscribe to our code of ethics. Jr. Members are charged no more for being a Gold Member.

If you have any questions about the above, please email bob and add a comment.

We have approvers. At this time they are the Directors. They all know that our job here is not to censor. Yes, we may raise the age-rating but we neither edit nor censor works.

My question is, is Bob the sole arbiter of the stories submitted?
If so, are they judged on just the spelling and grammer?
What about the story itself?
The old adage about one man's meat etc.
I know some people who think Clive Custler is a great writer.
