Why do you say those silly things?
Please don't lie.
I know you love me,
I can't live without you, I'll die
You tell me the opposite
of what I want to hear,
Why not tell me,
at least by a note or whisper in my ear.
It's really noticable that you like me,
and there's no use to hide it.
We would be a nice couple as people say,
just tell me the truth and I'll prove it.

Thanx you guys for the tips. And I know that I be young, but last year people were actually going out! Well, I wasn't. I should really tell him my feelings... and be he might feel the same way... well, actually I know he feels the same way, he just wont say it.
I know around that age if he is hanging around you a lot, no matter what his words are, chances are he likes you. Unless a lot has changed in the last 6 years..lol
Jessica,
You are very insightful at such a young age. It's strange how people act and say the opposite of what they really feel...I think that's what you are hitting on. Am I right?
I feel your frustration with the situation. Poem has a nice, easy flow. Maybe add another stanza as to how you would express YOUR FEELINGS to this person.
Say, Jessica, this is a mighty good little poem for an 11 year-old! Never too young to love, but don't get real serious until you are ready to take on the responsibility that comes with it.
You have expressed some very mature thoughts here.
