The very best suggestion I can give is read notes, poetry and stories of others. Find some you think you might like and use the link on their poem or author page to email them. Our email is safe. If you later don't like them, they will not have your email address and can't 'bug' you.

If you make direct contact like this, I'm sure you'll find lots of friends here, some your age and others who are not.
