A Wonderful Life Chapter 3: Houses by Buddy Ales

{FADE IN}
We find our friends sitting in Makoto's apartment om front of a television set. The stranger looking at a real-estate book, Makoto and Hollie sitting on the sofa. Hollie's head rested on Makoto's shoulder.
The stranger looks to Makoto “I think I found one,” he hands Makoto the book.
Makoto takes the book and looks at it “I think you might have ,” he hands the book back.
The stranger takes it “Well Makoto I really need to get going ”
Makoto nods “I think I oughta be getting Hollie here home soon anyways “
The stranger nods and walks out leaving Makoto and Hollie. Makoto taps her on the shoulder as he walks around to get their jackets. She sits up “Time to go already?”
Makoto returns with their jackets “Sorry to say, but yes..” he hands her jacket to her and puts his own on.
Hollie puts hers on while standing up, she has it on as she steps out the door “So did he find anything?”
Makoto nods, following her, “Actually yes..” he closes the door “Something nice to”
They both walk to his car through the light cover of snow and get in. He puts the key in and brins the ignition to a start. He lets it run for a minute letting it heat up “It's far from town, but not too far, and is cozy..”
Hollie smiles “Sounds nice.. show me it if you get a chance...”
Makoto smiles back “I will...” he revs the car once or twice and backs out. After backed out he puts it in gear and pulls onto the road. {FADE OUT}

{FADE IN}
We fine the familiar 68' Mustang going down a dirt road, trees on both side, at a good speed. Slight dirt is being spit up behind the car as it travels down the relatively straight road. Everything around for a good ways is nothing but clear lakes and green trees. We move our veiw into the car where Makoto and Hollie are talking, Makoto driving, Hollie wearing a light, oceanic blue dress that drops to her knees.
Makoto smiles as he shifts the car down one speed as he takes a sharper turn but soon shifts back up "I'm telling ya Hollie, you are going to LOVE this house. I'm not kidding, it IS grand!"
They soon pull up in front of a large, white, two story house with a full attic. The front door wide open and most of the windows open as well. The curtains in the attic are shut unlike the rest.
Hollie and Makoto get out of the car quietly after the ignition is off and Hollie looks to Makoto "MAKOTO! You were right, it tis grand!"
Makoto smiles "I thought so too... Wait until you see the inside..."
Having said this the two walk into the house hand-in-hand.
{FADE OUT}
