A priestess and healer, farseeing -
Female elf of Icelandic birth!
They inhabit all the land -
The old standing stones, they have seen -
From their long barrows and sacred mounds!
In reverence the people bow to these special folk.
No taller than a finger, yet wise beyond their years.
What skills they possess!
Giving their sage advice, they peer into the future.
They know the herbs and heal with special craft.
The Equinox of Spring they read outer and inner signs!
