I Like Summer Mornings
when the sun falls on me
like gold dust;
and the intimacy of warmth
after a night of cool sleep.
And you are there,
standing in the jasmine
and white roses,
where the softest breeze
creates a living canvass
of quivering blossoms
and the slightest flicker
in you hair.
