Day's Last Breath
by Joan Jotz (Age: 54)
copyright 12-12-2003

Age Rating: 7 to 127

  Day's Last Breath
Picture Credits:

In the luminous glow of dusk,
Night's overture whispers to fantasy.
Gentle winds rustle
Emerald forest hues;
Wing-beats wreath
The velvet woods;
Fireflys betray a topaz moon;
Crickets embroider with silken tunes.
AND...In day's last breath,
Darkness shrouds solitude...
TRUTH is veiled by CHARM.

OOO, I can relate to this poem alot.
Night does hide reality, with sparkling stars, and a luminous moon.
Keep up the good work.

It is indeed a pleasure to read every one of your poems; like viewing a smorgasbord of delightful entrees, and wondering what's for dessert! This is simply a wonderful short poem, and the picture gives it an added aura of serenity and charm.

Your devoted fan,
Moses
