The sudden sound of wings
Beating the air...A noise of Nature
Made sweet by it's unexpected whisper.
So gentle...a soft purr of feather and wind.
A tentative embrace of eiderdown and air.
Swift rushes of windsongs,
Held for a moment...spun like silk...
Gently pulled and voiced, then,
Left to quiver and fade
Among the clouds.
