A lie I did not tell
by Toni Sweeney (Age: 21)
copyright 12-24-2003

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Do not worry
this is not true
this is just a lie
I'm telling you

For I did not do it
It wasn't me
I just wanted to tell you I did it
so I can go out and play

I didn't go out and play
for I was sent to my room
for something I did not do

The one who did it
got to go outside and play
but I
with this lie
got stuck in my room
for the rest of this day

Th truth I don't want to tell
because if I do
I will be stuck in my room
till the end of my days
and I will never go out and play

This lie I should not have told
but I never knew this
lie could be so true
The truth I should of told
because if I did
I would be outside playing

The lie I shall fix
I will turn it into the truth

Because of this lie
I am stuck here
in this room
till the end of my days
but now nobody
gets to go out and play

I have to live lying. But I will NEVER tell. I swore. This particular lie is more important to tell cause it can save a lot of heartache.

One lie just lead to another and then there is no way out. Looks like this lies has you trapped, now the only option is the truth and live with the consequences. Good job.
