I'm Sick Of It All
by Caitlin M. (Age: 16)
copyright 12-21-2003

Age Rating: 13 to 127

  I'm Sick Of It All

I'm sick of you calling me young
Making rumors about me
Hurting me just so you can try to make me scream
Coming home covering up the wounds
Having one friend
Friends pushing me aside
Being called a freak

I can't cry anymore
The pain is too hard
Stop caring for me
I don't want to be cared for

This struck something in me strong. Caitlin, you are a wonderful girl, who has gone through so much already, but you will rise above it. You have a talent, a strength. no one can ever destroy that.

Forever,
Debra

I loved the lines "Stop caring for me
I don't want to be cared for" That just reached me on some spiritual level. Not sure why though. Oh well. I love this poem! Good job! ^___^
