Yelling for Help
by Carmen C.
copyright 03-27-2004

Age Rating: 13 to 127

Lost in the smoke,
Has my fate awoke?
Lungs filled with the posion.
Is this my death?

Yelling for help.
Lost in the smoke.
Letting loose a yelp.
My lungs cannot uncloak,
The smoke.

It's dark in here,
Is this a dream?
My heart is filled with fear.
All my thoughts have poured downstream,
With fate left to appear.

Yelling for help.
Lost in the smoke.
Letting loose a yelp.
My lungs cannot uncloak,
The smoke.

Crawling into the deep...
Dream?
Do I need to weep?
This is not just another scream.

Yelling for help.
Lost in the smoke.
Letting loose a yelp.
My lungs cannot uncloak,
The smoke.

My frail hands reach out for love,
There are hands above.
Cloaked in black,
My tears cannot hold back.
My only life is at stake with this smoke,
Above.
