Can you see?
by Tara M. (Age: 15)
copyright 01-09-2004

Age Rating: 1 to 127

This is a poem about the Earth and how mankind has destroyed some of its lovely features.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now this has come unbearible,
so much black and cruel despair,
who can tell where it will fall,
through the screech of weeping in the air,
open your eyes,
I want to make you see,
Just what your cruelness has done to me,
I am so big yet i feel small,
You're selfish greedy and cowardly,
i feel life is short and that's not all,
Yes, mankind has done this to me,
open your eyes,
can you see?
