All American Suicide
by Yuushi Rose
copyright 08-24-2001

Age Rating: 16 to 127

WARNING: Content in this poem contains true feelings, real thoughts, and personal feelings from deep in my soul, and seeing as people are afraid or offended by the what they don't understand (ex: people hate and fear Marilyn Manson but don't understand him. To learn more about this please go to www.angelmanson.com) so many might be offended or afraid of this. But this is my thoughts, and seeing as, sadly enough I have found nobody to listen but my paper and my computer, I write my thoughts here. So please don't go bezerk on me (because people on Opendiary always do) and just try to think it through and get its meaning before you run from what you don't understand, please?

~All American Suicide~

Put on the makeup to hide the tears
I am the all American Suicide
Show the smile to hide the fears
That kills your soul inside

Let them think your rich while
You know you can barely survive
Tell yourself to smile
That one day you will be alive

I'll thrill the thriller
I'll kill the Killer
There's not enough way to say I hate you,
I am the All American Suicide

Cold chills up and down your spine
Too much inside to call you mine
Everybody borrows someone elses needle
To inject themselves with the agnotistic beetle

No sense make I
Because you know me
I am the All American Suicide

I'll thrill the thriller
I'll kill the Killer
There's not enough way to say I hate you,
I am the All American Suicide

Each person that hides behind their mask
I protect with the hate in my veins
While their soul it does retract
Quiet dreams and burning hate insane

I'll thrill the thriller
I'll kill the Killer
There's not enough way to say I hate you,
I am the All American Suicide

Put on makeup to hide the scars and tears
Put up a mask to hide the bullet proof fears
Let it shatter when daybreaks done
And burn your soul underneath the sun

I am the All American Suicide

I hope that didn't make anybody hate me...and if it did, then I'm sorry, but I don't really care. ^_^ Because if it made you hate me, you don't even know the meaning of my words. But to the rest of you...

I LOVE YOU MAN!!!!!!!!!
*Dramatic sniffling*

What you say is truth as you know it, how can (or why should) anyone hate the truth??? Not I!!!

I'm sorry that anyone who creates has to feel the need to explain/defend themselves. :( We are what we are, and there should be no 'judging' of that by others. Just MHO, of course.

This is a very emotional, and scary, piece of work. You made me feel the hate, and dare I imagine, despair?

After a while I understood Yuushi, this last stanza did it for me, " Put on makeup to hide the scars and tears
Put up a mask to hide the bullet proof fears
Let it shatter when daybreaks done
And burn your soul underneath the sun "

Great writing!

I do understand Marilyn Manson and I still do not approve of his music. In fact, my youth and I have spent much time discussing his music (and others) which is always interesting. Your poem is deep, not of physical suicide - of emotional suicide. Pretending to be what you are not, to feel what you do not feel, to project to please while inside there is a nothingness. I hope one day you'll find someone to hear your voice because you speak with clarity and strength....and deserve to be heard.
