Searching for something
by Paul Kangas (Age: 18)
copyright 01-06-2004

Age Rating: 4 to 127

Everybody's searching for something,
something that they can't call their own,
wishing, hoping, waiting, for empty skies to defend us,
but they don't.
What's up with all the obsession?
Whats in and whats out,
thats what its about.
Keep on doing your talent the right way then maybe one day your dreams will come true.
But Jesus is the only reason why my heart is simply free to say "You could have a million things and be super famous but nothing could replace the love that Jesus gave"!

Nice moral, and even I, the scientist and stubborn non-religious person, enjoyed reading this. I have thought of Christianity as something more than stories written to hope that people be good, and there's prof of some of the biblical accounts, but since the dates aren't correct, I'm a little skeptical. And it seems religions start wars more than anything else in this say and age. Anyhow, back to the poem. This was a good work, even if held back by the grammar... If you want help with the editing, email me and I'll be glad to help.

May the divine darkness be with you,
Leigh of the Commenting Crusaders
