Progression of Purpose
by Heather Jackson (Age: 30)
copyright 01-09-2004

Age Rating: 13 to 127

Wandering, confused
Seeking, searching
Longing desperately
Somehow knowing
Despite all evidence
That You had a plan

Despairing, despondent
Broken, weakened
Buffeted, drowning
Somehow trusting
Despite all wisdom
That You had a purpose

Praying, faithful
Dreaming, hoping
Listening, learning
Somehow certain
Despite all doubts
That You have more

Living, thriving
Singing, weeping
Hopefully loving
Somehow rejoicing
Despite all knowledge
Because You love me

~Heather

Heather,
This is an AMAZING poem! You have such a wonderful rythm on it. It just seems to flow straight off of the tongue. I loved this, Heather, and I'm glad to be the first to comment. :)
