First of all, this is not as precise as it could be. You could change the ammount of ingrediants, and I am only estimating. I know it by heart and have lng forgot the ammounts.
First wash your hands, thouroughly, with soap and water and dry. (While doing this be heating up some bacon in a frying pan, no lid) Now, Get two cans of pork and beans, average cans will do. Next, get out a square dish about 10" wide, 10" deep, and 4" high. Now take your pork and beans and empty them into the dish. Next you take some strawberry or grape (Better) jelly and put about 1.5 - 2.0 tablespoons of it into the beans. Now you can take some (preferably Bauhmans) barbeque honey saue and put enough to lightly cover the beans, about 1.5 - 2.0 cups. Next take half of an onion and DICE it up, then put it into the beans.
Now take your bacon and cut them into scraps, then put the scraps into the beans. Next, if there is some honey lying around put 2 teaspoons into the beans. Now stir everything up. Now all you have to do is put a lid, or tin foil, over the container and put it in the over for, oh I'd say, 10 - 15 minutes, so they can bake.
This dish goes well with steak or rib-eye, some sweet corn, home-made bread, and a cold glass of milk. Enjoy! I have never told this recipe to anyone. I came up with it one evening while making the beans, and surprised my parents when they tasted them. They said they were the best they had ever had. Now they try to match them, but can't. But Dad has come very close ;-) Try this with a little bit of pineapple juice and maybe a slice or two of pineapple in it and I am sure it will be even better. ~ Keep Grillin' ~
