Morning Mist
by Sharron Tyrrell
copyright 08-25-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

Morning Mist

Sandwiched between the
golden eye of the streetlight
and the silver of
the morning sky.

See the reflection of
tall black pines on
the smooth surface of
the mirror lake.

The distant mountains
stand on tip toe
to reach the heavens
where misty clouds cry.

Dropping dew on the
meadows where grateful
blossoms nod their heads
and sweet smiles make.

The air is alive with
the sound of ravens
searching for breakfast
on the ribbon of road.

Promise of a good day
in all the beauty
surrounding the perfectly
placed entry of my abode.

Ahh.. Nature makes it so easy to write about her. What a love affair we all have with her, well... me at least. *griN*
