An Oasis of Hope

  An Oasis of Hope

Trapped in the heat,
Lost in the wind,
You'll never find me,
Not ever again.

I'm running away,
Not coming back,
I'm ignored way too much,
There's an emotional lack.

Through the desert I trek,
Until an oasis I find a drink rushing,
Drink up the crisp water,
The cool spray and moist droplets refreshing.

There is a light at the end,
At the end of your path,
Work towards that goal,
Though there may be suffering and wrath.

You must keep that hope,
Don't let it go,
That bright light is always there like an oasis,
Although it fades and returns, it won't ever go.

That was a really cool poem! Awesome job. One suggestion: I wasn't sure of the flow. It seemed to jump around a bit. With a few edits, it would be ABSOULUTELY wonderful! keep it up!
