Blue Angel

by Amanda Benham (Age: 26)

Bright shades of blue set me into a hypnotic trance,
A sedative of indulgences sends me spiraling into insanity,
Is it possible to love too much?
To be unimmaculate in pleasure and pain,
To be infatuated with a smile?
Why must I cry each time we fight,
Or sometimes when he doesn't call,
Lost inside an eternal slumber,
Dreaming about a flawless life I hope to live,
Looking deep inside crystal eyes of an abysmal wish,
To manage to keep my fire aflame,
Sedated and narcoized imagining love sitting on a silver platter of purity,
Waiting to be consumed and shared with my only love,
The one who's incomparable and unmatched,
Angelic in everyway,
Often serephic when he sleeps,
Hiding his sapphire eyes and letting solace overcome him,
Flying away into sweet skies of sedation,
Taking me into his world,
My exquisite blue angel.

You paint such a pretty picture with your words. I hope you don't wait for someone to meet the requirements that you have set. Prince Charming has already been taken. ( There could be two I guess) Good write, Anthony
