Crying

This was very random... not really sure what to do withit

What is crying? According to my dictionary, it is the body’s natural reactions to extreme physical or emotional pain, frustration, or anger. That gives no answers, what is it really?

It is pain, the one emotion truly expressed upon my being in the form of luxurious acid. It is the intense burning that fills the sockets, a feeling of shattered glass flowing from my body replaces that which should be of water steaming. It is the acid that blinds me; as the droplets eat away the skin in perfect downward lines my eyes become null and hollow to the bone which leaves the only sight as one that shows darkness and decay. And when the evil liquid ceases to flow the sight returns immediately so that it may be ripped away again, but the pain last for days, reminding me of the momentary weakness I let out and that like every time before it has left its mark upon my soul. This time, as before, my vision has become a bit more impaired. With every tear it gets a little more distorted, and twisted, and the less I see of the good in the world and more do I view and embrace the dark. The beautiful darkness that takes the immense sting out of my tears and comforts my pain. Ultimately it brings me a little closer to falling off the edge into the abyss every time I cry. That is crying…

I agree with everyone that this is very descriptive and you do have a wonderful writing style. My only question is what about happy tears?
We sometimes cry when we are very happy and those crys are welcomed. Again this was a good story! Thanks, Anthony
