You (to Mardi G)
by Paul Kangas (Age: 18)
copyright 01-22-2004

Age Rating: 7 to 127

This poem is for Mardi G.
She was an awesome friend, a nice person, but she one day left Prose-n-Poetry.
This poem is for her
-------------------------------------------------------
You brought tears to my eyes,
breaking me apart,
my heart,
my skin,
my soul,
my trust,
my faith,
everything I had,
and everything I wanted.
Now I feel rejected,
hurt of course,
but could I expect so much from you?
You were so nice when I first met you!
How did you feel when the truth came out?
Did you feel low,
or left out?
You did the best that you could do,
but now Its time to leave to.
So what you did was low,
but I can't hold back,
but I know now that I must let go.
-------------------------------------------------------

Bye Mardi

I never knew Mardi. Even though I could tell that you were good friends, and it was a painful good-bye when she left... Mardi...she is a she, right? Yeah, I know stupid question... Anyhow, so I don't get too side tracked, this was a good poem and the flow was better than usual. The semi-dark theme also made me enjoy this one better. Even though it'd be more respectful to Mardi to fix the errors in this poem. Would you like the edits? Via comment or e-mail? Keep writing.
