Twilight Tears
by Carmen C.
copyright 03-15-2004

Age Rating: 7 to 127

The tears of twilight stay above our heads,
We stare up at them,
Hoping to find out what we really are.
We say we find our souls.
But we also say we believe in one another.

The tears of the deep,
We pretend to keep.
Search for the sun,
Before the evil work is done.

Smile for me,
Just once again.
I'm fading into the tears of the twilight,
Alone.

The tears of the deep,
We pretend to keep.
Search for the sun,
Before the evil work is done.
The echoes of you screaming stay in my head.
We shared so many things.
But you closed the door,
You wanted no more.
You were tired of staying here.
You made the others drown in fear.
Nobody cares about me,
Only the others.
The tears of the deep,
We pretend to keep.
Search for the sun,
Before the evil work is done.

Find the last tear of twilight,
And keep it,
Remember me,
Remember our good times,
Then fade with me,
To the land of twilight.
