Packed away tight,
Stuffed in the boxes of our hearts,
Lays the most complex.
Hiding ourselves,
Hiding the world,
Hiding everything being existent,
We hold ourselves tight,
Hoping someday to be returned to the world of pretend.
Fear being our only boundary.
We pray to be strong.
But we all know the door is closed,
We all know that the sorrow & pain won't fade,
I stand here and see only the pain.
Sucking in the air,
Trying to breathe normally,
Breaths being whole,
I live.
People walk by quickly,
Giving me odd looks,
None of them realizing this very moment could be their last.
How serious their faces are,
If only they could enjoy themselves,
Because nobody knows when it will be their last moment.
