The Darkside

The darkside in me,
Just longing to cut, bleed and die,
I'm a mystery,
Dark and brooding in blackness.

I gave up smiling,
Gave up happiness,
I lost too much,
Grandad...please come save me.

Look at the corner,
So dark,
It's easy to rock back and forth,
No one can see the tears slide down upon my cheeks.

Warm blood,
It's part of you,
Part of life,
So take it away and maybe I can forget.

I want to forget being ten,
Being twelve,
Losing my family,
Then my Luna, my protection.

Love's a hard word,
Yet we all long for it,
But then play games,
I hold no love, it's all darkness for you.

Time to say goodbye,
I'm finally fading away,
For I cannot understand the light,
When before my eyes,
I know it's there.
