I see the pain in your eyes
I hear the beat of your broken heart
I feel your loneliness whenever I see you

I will not stand to see you suffer anymore
NO ONE has the right to treat you that way
Let me be the one to put a stop the suffering

Your broken heart tears me to pieces
How could anyone break the heart of an angel
Let me treat you the way you deserve

There's no need for you to be lonely
Not if I have any say about it
I will NEVER leave you alone

There will be no more pain
No more broken hearts nor loneliness
You deserve SO much better than that

If you are looking for a brighter future
Look no more, I am right here
Your future lies within me

Wow you got a lot of responses on this poem. I realise that this was sometime ago, but I want others that read this to know that the best intentions are not always the best thing. This person that has been in a bad relationship, may be looking for a soft place to fall. If you pick them up, when they feel better they may leave you to go back for more punishment. You teach people how to treat you. If someone says or does something that you are not ok with let them know right away. Then they won't do it again, but if they do, you may need to find someone else.
