Rain drops slowly down
and topples to the ground
Some dig through the dirt
Some get stuck on
the leaves of tall TALL trees
Makes them want to cry
And gets to the
Long LONG plant roots.
And make them sprout high.
Some run away
to ponds where it is lifted
into the sky HIGH
And is dropped down
Again.
Rain drops slowly down
And topples to the ground.
Nobody knows why or how.
But I know one thing.
The plant can't wait
until it rains.
