Snow flakes
by Toni Sweeney (Age: 21)
copyright 12-10-2004

Age Rating: 1 to 127

Snow flake by snow flake
inch by inch
one by one
the snow falls
onto this frozen ground
once where I stood

The days get warmer,
snow falls more,
now we are waddling in snow
up to our behinds
if you are not on the road

Today it continues to fall
no end in sight
I hope it will stop
before it buries or cars.

Snow angels,
Snow forts,
Snow men,
snow woman,
snow balls,
snow dogs,
and snow Igloos
began to open there door

Will it ever get cold again? hopefully not,
will the snow ever stop falling? ☺ hopefully it will
These are just a few questions
that I just don't know

snow come back
we need you so
put out these fires
that burn down the land
Snow come back we do need you so.

When it gets too hot here in Maryland, I read your poems to cool off.

Your poems might feel cold, but your heart feels warm.

Thank you for your support of my writing
and your friendship.

I wish I lived where it snowed, but I know I would be too cold, us Texans can't handle the cold. We don't know how to drive on ice, but we sure can handle rain! rain rain go away! Go put those fires out for Toni today! I hope everything is working out for you. Great write, thank you

We are still waiting on our first snow this year. Snow is kinda like rain, it's beautiful and necessary and when you don't want it you get plenty and when you need it it's not around. Great write. Take care and Have fun. Steve
