When the Bad Guys Win
by Debra Rose (Age: 21)
copyright 03-27-2004

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Our world has fallen to waste,
Our nightmares have come true,
The bad guys have really won,
The angels have given up.

No one realized when it happened,
But the moment some people,
Lifted their heads and said,
"Noble savages, worship my god,"
The last stronghold,
True virtue and goodness had,
Crumbled.
Died.

When my children ask,
What if the bad guys won,
I cannot lie as I was lied to.
For can't you see?
"Baby, the bad guys did win."

Okay...for all you people wondering who the bad guys are?

Look back in history. The villians of then are the heroes of now. The killers of the Indian Tribes, the slavery going on still in Africa.... The same group that performed the most massive slaughters of Jews and "Pagans" in a little fun run called the Crusades...the same people in power today calling for wars in a country with "weapons of mass destruction" instead of the countries with genocide (er...excuse me, ETHNIC CLEANSING) happening as we speak...

...a better question I have to ask?

Who AREN'T the bad guys?
