Dry Your Tears...
by Regina S.
copyright 03-02-2004

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Dry your tears on a soft pillow
and they will come back the next night.
Dry your tears with untamed anger
and they’ll forever blind your sight.

Dry your tears on a soft tissue
and more will follow it’s dispense.
Swallow your tears in your heart’s chambers
and it will become dark and dense.

But dry your tears on a friend’s shoulder
and never again will they be seen.
Love destroys both pain and hatred
and makes your heart and mind serene.

The sentiments are well expressed...it is tender, yet forceful. Very nice Regina.
