When memories dance in time
I stop and look for a word to see
The glory of light upon the stage
Window dressing for the few
In the hour before the sun drops
Winter dreams talk insight full
Was it really a place or just image
Not a word left my lips pen at fingertips
I come to meet myself returning home
Not a whimper but hero in tune with death
What is fear but the challenge of the unknown
Created a place safe haven do you understand
Image and sound fly upon the screen
Doors to the world hold many un-said
For I now awake walk away in yesterday
Silver slides down in my little town
Home just a thought for the blank page
All the cavern light held the best sung
My song never played yet I danced
Touched by the favor of a warm wind
Her kisses cascade in every room
Walls of hope fill the moody blue
Wandering from mind to body
Head and toe embrace the last of grace
Mist falls gently down inside the pride
Water meets the dawn of daylight
Shores rush to meet a sleepy soul
My heart is alive with your play

Walt,
Loneliness is the hearts dearest friend and closest enemy. To find the person to pull you out of it is the most amazing thing, to change that blank canvas to a beautiful painting. You have done a wonderful job, and there are so many parts in here I've fallen in love with. I sent you an email about it though, somethings I suggested. LOL Sorry you have to bear the brunt of my odd mood.
"My heart is alive with your play" - I like that line very much. The poem itself I like a great deal. I like particularly the way sounds repeat themselves after a little shuffle.
