Today was an awesome day.... til i came back home from my friends house. my mom had told me that, well, my mouse had died. her name was penelope. she was the best mouse ever!! i had her for 3 years. but now shes dead. and soon my dog will die cuz of old age. :'( soon im not going 2 hav any pets!! so, yea. my favorite mouse in the world has died and its sad ((and my friend didnt even care when i told her!!)).

I'm sorry about Penelope, Jess. I know it hurts, but you shouldn't feel so bad. You gave her a good home, your love and friendship, and that was the best you could have done! She died peacefully. There are mice who get used by scientists to test stuff. They spend their whole lives in cold laboratories, being experimented on! :( And thanks to you, Penelope wasn't one of them! Maybe you can adopt a new mouse? Not to take her place, but just to care for? And hug your puppy for me! ^-^ if it's one thing I've realized, animals live for the moment, that's what's so cool about them. I'm not sure if they think about death or not, but hey accept it as it comes. It's sad for us cuz we MAY never see them again, but then again, who really knows? :) Take care, and don't worry about your dog, just play and spend time with it for as long as you can!
